Job Description
Working closely with pupils and staff, Teaching Assistants help maintain engagement and progress. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities.
Provides classroom-based support during lessons.
Delivers small group or individual interventions.
Supports classroom organisation and resources.
Encourages positive behaviour and engagement.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
If you're fuelled by a passion for early education, you're already on the right path. While formal qualifications are a plus, what matters most is your enthusiasm and dedication. Any education and teaching qualifications will put you at an advantage. Experience in an early years setting is valued, as is a warm and nurturing approach. Your ability to spark curiosity and provide a safe, supportive space for little ones to flourish is what sets you apart. An enhanced DBS is also a strict requirement, as safety is key.
