Job Description
Within the classroom, Teaching Assistants contribute to a positive and well-organised learning environment. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities.
Provides classroom-based support during lessons.
Delivers small group or individual interventions.
Supports classroom organisation and resources.
Encourages positive behaviour and engagement.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Support Specialist: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role, with a focus on individualised student support.
DBS Ready: Enhanced DBS check in hand, ready to provide one-on-one support in an educational setting.
Qualified? You don't need a QTS, but any relevant teaching or education qualifications would be useful.
