About the School
This ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated school is known for prioritising emotional development alongside academics. They have a dedicated pastoral hub, sensory-friendly spaces, and a leadership team that actively funds early intervention rather than waiting for crisis points. Staff are encouraged to try creative approaches when supporting behaviour — whether through small-group mentoring, outdoor reset spaces, or targeted emotional literacy sessions. Inclusion isn’t treated as an add-on, and the school works closely with families to understand pupil needs in and out of the classroom. Class sizes are manageable, and the SEND and pastoral departments collaborate daily to prevent pupils from falling through the cracks. The school also runs enrichment clubs, nurture groups, and transition support, giving staff opportunities to shape provision beyond the classroom. If you want to make a real difference without burning out, this school offers the right structure and culture.
