Job Description

Working closely with pupils and staff, Teaching Assistants help maintain engagement and progress. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities.

Provides classroom-based support during lessons.
Delivers small group or individual interventions.
Supports classroom organisation and resources.
Encourages positive behaviour and engagement.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Experience supporting primary-aged pupils (school or tutoring experience welcomed)

  • Knowledge of Pupil Premium or intervention strategies desirable 

  • Strong literacy and numeracy confidence Kind, consistent, and resilient approach to pupil development
