Rated Good by Ofsted, the school places a strong emphasis on pastoral care and ensures that pupils arriving from a wide range of primary settings receive tailored support to help them settle quickly and confidently.
The school offers structured induction pathways, dedicated transition hubs, and a wide range of early support interventions designed to help pupils build organisation skills, manage routines, and navigate the expectations of secondary life. Staff work closely across pastoral and academic teams to create a seamless experience for new Year 7 pupils, particularly for those who may arrive with additional learning or emotional needs.
