Job Description
Working as part of the teaching team, teachers plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences. The work involves effective planning, assessment, and classroom practice, alongside collaboration with colleagues to support school priorities. A strong understanding of safeguarding expectations and inclusive teaching approaches is essential.
Plans and delivers engaging curriculum-aligned lessons.
Assesses progress and adapts teaching accordingly.
Creates a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Works collaboratively with colleagues and leadership.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
For this role, you will need to have a degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or another relevant field. You must also hold a QTS. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching RE, preferably at GCSE and A level. They will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of major world religions, ethics, and philosophical principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to facilitate sensitive discussions and foster an inclusive learning environment.
