Job Description
Working as part of the teaching team, teachers plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences. The work involves effective planning, assessment, and classroom practice, alongside collaboration with colleagues to support school priorities. A strong understanding of safeguarding expectations and inclusive teaching approaches is essential.
Plans and delivers engaging curriculum-aligned lessons.
Assesses progress and adapts teaching accordingly.
Creates a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Works collaboratively with colleagues and leadership.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
For this particular role excellent literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
You must also have the ability to remain claim in challenging and stressful situations. Previous experience working with children and young adults who have SEMH needs is a must.
An qualifications relating to teaching assistants, childhood studies, psychology, youth work and health and social care would also be ideal for this role.
