Job Description

Working as part of the teaching team, teachers plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences. The work involves effective planning, assessment, and classroom practice, alongside collaboration with colleagues to support school priorities. A strong understanding of safeguarding expectations and inclusive teaching approaches is essential.

Plans and delivers engaging curriculum-aligned lessons.
Assesses progress and adapts teaching accordingly.
Creates a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Works collaboratively with colleagues and leadership.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • For this particular role excellent literacy and numeracy skills are essential. 

  • You must also have the ability to remain claim in challenging and stressful situations. Previous experience working with children and young adults who have SEMH needs is a must. 

  • An qualifications relating to teaching assistants, childhood studies, psychology, youth work and health and social care would also be ideal for this role.
