About the School

This Birmingham North primary school has earned a reputation for balancing high expectations with genuine pastoral warmth. With a recent Good Ofsted rating, the school has been praised for its inclusive culture, supportive leadership, and strong safeguarding ethos. Staff work as a unified team, sharing strategies and celebrating progress — whether academic, social, or emotional. The school’s approach to behaviour is relational rather than punitive: pupils are encouraged to reflect, repair, and return to learning with confidence. Class sizes are manageable and the pastoral offer is well-resourced, allowing Behaviour Buddies to work meaningfully with pupils without being stretched thin. For professionals who believe that emotional development is just as important as academics, this is an exceptional environment to grow your skills while making a measurable impact.
