Job Description

Working as part of the teaching team, teachers plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences. The work involves effective planning, assessment, and classroom practice, alongside collaboration with colleagues to support school priorities. A strong understanding of safeguarding expectations and inclusive teaching approaches is essential.

Plans and delivers engaging curriculum-aligned lessons.
Assesses progress and adapts teaching accordingly.
Creates a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Works collaboratively with colleagues and leadership.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • QTS or PGCE in Secondary Science (or relevant subject) 

  • Experience teaching KS3/KS4 in mainstream or academy settings 

  • Strong classroom management and rapport-building skills 

  • Passion for practical learning and pupil engagement 

  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
