Job Description
Working closely with pupils and staff, Teaching Assistants help maintain engagement and progress. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities.
Provides classroom-based support during lessons.
Delivers small group or individual interventions.
Supports classroom organisation and resources.
Encourages positive behaviour and engagement.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
To be considered for this role you MUST have previous experience working with children and young people who have additional needs such as ASC.
Experience working within a primary school classroom will also be an advantage, with knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
You will also need an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
