Job Description
Teaching Assistants support learning within the classroom under the guidance of the class teacher. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities.
Provides classroom-based support during lessons.
Delivers small group or individual interventions.
Supports classroom organisation and resources.
Encourages positive behaviour and engagement.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) in English and Maths.
Experience working with children (e.g., volunteering, youth groups) preferred.
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check mandatory.
Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (advantageous).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
