Job Description
Working closely with pupils and staff, Teaching Assistants help maintain engagement and progress. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities.
Provides classroom-based support during lessons.
Delivers small group or individual interventions.
Supports classroom organisation and resources.
Encourages positive behaviour and engagement.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Proven experience working in education or care with children who have SEMH, autism or trauma-related needs
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Understanding of inclusive education approaches and how to support access to learning for all
Full driving licence and own transport (required due to rural location)
Flexible, resilient, proactive and committed to educational excellence
