Job Description
Within the classroom, Teaching Assistants contribute to a positive and well-organised learning environment. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities.
Provides classroom-based support during lessons.
Delivers small group or individual interventions.
Supports classroom organisation and resources.
Encourages positive behaviour and engagement.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting children in Primary or youth settings.
Warm, patient communicator with strong relational skills.
Comfortable modelling language and supporting social development.
Able to provide consistent encouragement and simple routines.
