About the School
Located in Oxfordshire (OX9), this SEND school holds a secure Ofsted Good rating and is known for its highly structured, regulation-focused environment. The school supports pupils with autism, sensory processing differences, and emotional regulation needs, using predictable routines and clear visual systems throughout the day.
Classrooms and shared spaces are designed to reduce sensory overload, with calm colour palettes, defined transition points, and access to regulation spaces. Staff work closely with occupational therapists and behaviour specialists to ensure consistent approaches across the school.
Leadership places strong emphasis on staff training, offering CPD in sensory integration, transition support, and autism-informed practice. The culture is reflective, collaborative, and supportive — an excellent setting for practitioners who value structure, patience, and purposeful SEND work.
