Job Description
Working closely with pupils and staff, Teaching Assistants help maintain engagement and progress. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities.
Provides classroom-based support during lessons.
Delivers small group or individual interventions.
Supports classroom organisation and resources.
Encourages positive behaviour and engagement.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
For this role, the ideal candidate will have previous experience teaching within a secondary school. You must also have a QTS, and other relevant teaching, education and maths based qualifications. Strong subject knowledge and knowledge of the curriculum will also be a key factor. You must also have a significant amount of experience teaching maths up to KS4and GCSE level.
