Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work closely with either Year 3 or Year 1.

Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Salary: M1 - M6 Teaching Scale

As a Year 3 or Year 1 Teaching Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for our young learners.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver creative and age-appropriate lessons.
Foster positive and supportive relationships with students, encouraging a love for learning.
Provide one-on-one support to individual students, tailoring assistance to their unique needs.
Assist in the organisation and delivery of class activities, ensuring active student participation.
Contribute to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
Monitor and assess the progress of students, offering additional support as required.

Desired Experience
+ Qualifications

Enhanced DBS certificate.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/education qualifications.
Previous experience within a school setting, particularly working with students in Year 3 or Year 1.
Passion for creating an environment where every child's unique needs are met.
