Do you have a passion for shaping young minds?

As a key classroom teacher, you will be responsible for...

Delivering engaging lessons across core subjects,

Your duties will also include collaborating with other staff, communicating with parents, and participating in continuing professional development.

We offer a competitive salary based on the M1-M6 teaching scale for full-time classroom teachers. This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 3:30PM, providing a stable and consistent schedule across the academic year.

Desired Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), an enhanced DBS check, and previous primary classroom experience demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.

We seek candidates who build rapport with students, have strong behaviour management skills, and a commitment to achieving academic excellence.

About the School

Our partnered school is a mainstream, independently funded junior and senior school for mixed pupils in Solihull. It has about 200 pupils aged 4 to 11, from diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds.

The school has been rated as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted in its latest inspection, which took place in April 2022. The report stated that "pupils behave exceptionally well in lessons and around the school. They are polite, courteous and helpful to each other and to adults. They show pride in their work and their school."

That’s it! Our process is simple, and our consultants will advise on how to fast track your checks so you can start working ASAP.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check via the Disclosure and Barring Service. Our HR and Safeguarding team will be there to support you throughout the process.

But, I don’t want to register with a supply agency, why should I sign up with Milestone?

We get it. Supply agencies can’t always deliver exactly what you’re looking for, but that’s where we’re different…

We’re an education platform service who partner with schools and MATs to support their recruitment, training and wellbeing needs. It’s in our interest to secure you a role you’ll love, in a setting you’ll want to stay in, with a view to progressing your career. If that’s what you want!

How much does it cost and how much will I be paid?

Our services to you are completely free.

Costs will only incur if you require a new DBS or OSPC, but don't worry - we can still put you forward for interviews while the applications in process, so you won't miss out on all the exciting opportunities!
