Job Description
As the lead Year 6 Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in preparing students for their transition to secondary school.
Your understanding of primary education and ability to inspire will contribute to an environment where Year 6 students thrive academically and personally.
Contract: Full-Time Position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Salary: Competitive, Based on the M1 - M6 Teaching Scale and Experience
What you'll be doing...
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Year 6 curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
Prepare students for key assessments, including SATs, while making learning enjoyable.
Provide effective feedback and support to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to create a holistic and supportive educational experience.
Desired Experience
+ Qualifications
Enhanced DBS certificate.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
Proven experience teaching in Year 6 or upper primary.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
