Job Description
We're in search of a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to work closely with a child in Year One.
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Salary: M1 - M6 Teaching Scale
As a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting a child in Year One with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the individualized guidance necessary to thrive.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to the child, adapting assistance to their unique learning requirements.
Collaborate with the class teacher to create personalised lessons that cater to the child's learning style.
Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the child, promoting a love for learning.
Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the child's educational goals.
Support the child in accessing the curriculum and actively participating in school life.
Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive environment for the child.
Desired Experience
+ Qualifications
Enhanced DBS certificate.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/education qualifications.
Previous experience within a school setting, particularly providing 1:1 support.
Passion for creating an environment where every child's unique needs are met.

Our partnered school is a voluntary aided Church of England primary school for pupils aged 4 to 11 and has a resourced provision for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
