Job Description

This Birmingham secondary school is seeking a music teacher to start working full-time in the department as soon as possible. This secondary school is constantly seeking for creative ways to do things and ways to improve.

This is an exciting time to join because of the new perspective on this school as both a place of learning and employment. The senior leadership team at the school is reliable and capable.

You will be expected to organise and prepare music lessons for students in KS3–KS4, complete the marking and evaluation of students' work, as well as participate in facility and department meetings, since this is a long-term, full-time position to begin as soon as possible.

You'll ensure that all students are making steady progress and meeting their academic goals as you conduct these classes in a supportive learning environment. This school is committed to maintaining excellent standards for both students and staff.

This is a full time role, Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 3:30PM.

Salary will be based on experience.

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess QTS or QTLS and have experience teaching Music within a Secondary School or College. ECT’s with Music placement experience will be considered.

You will possess excellent behaviour management skills. You'll be eager to collaborate with others, exchange ideas, and demonstrate best practises. You will be available to start ASAP and continue a long-term basis.
