Job Description

Working as part of the teaching team, teachers plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences. The work involves effective planning, assessment, and classroom practice, alongside collaboration with colleagues to support school priorities. A strong understanding of safeguarding expectations and inclusive teaching approaches is essential.

Plans and delivers engaging curriculum-aligned lessons.
Assesses progress and adapts teaching accordingly.
Creates a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Works collaboratively with colleagues and leadership.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) 

  • Proven experience teaching geography in UK secondary schools 

  • Previous departmental or leadership responsibility is highly desirable

  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum design

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and people management skills
