Job Description
A supportive Primary school in Birmingham North is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to help pupils manage emotions, settle into lessons, and stay engaged throughout the day. You’ll provide 1:1 check-ins, classroom support, and clear guidance during challenging moments. Some pupils need structure; others need reassurance. Working closely with teachers, you’ll help pupils feel safe, understood, and ready to take part.
Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour support.
Assist with emotional regulation and routine.
Support reintegration after incidents.
Work with teachers and pastoral staff.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting behaviour needs.
Calm, confident communication style.
Ability to build trust with pupils.
Strong safeguarding awareness.
