Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 1
Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
Contribute to the wider life of the school

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum

  • Experience assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress

  • Excellent lesson planning and differentiation skills

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning

  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Adaptable, resilient, and solution-focused

  • Graduate or equivalent professional experience welcomed

  • Ambitious, proactive, and committed to continuous professional development
