Job Description
A primary school in Birmingham is seeking a motivated KS2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping children develop academically and socially within a supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across KS2
Deliver small group interventions and classroom support
Assist with literacy and numeracy activities
Support behaviour management and pupil engagement
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Previous classroom or school-based experience
Understanding of KS2 curriculum expectations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive and proactive attitude
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
