Job Description

You’ll support pupils who are learning English as an additional language, helping them understand lessons, develop vocabulary, and build confidence in communication. Working with individuals and small groups, you’ll reinforce key language skills and help pupils access the curriculum more confidently.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 1:1 and small-group EAL support.
Reinforce vocabulary, speaking, and listening skills.
Support pupils to access classroom learning.
Share progress updates with teaching staff.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Experience supporting EAL pupils or language development.

  • Clear communication and patient approach.

  • Ability to support structured language learning.

  • Strong safeguarding awareness and teamwork approach.
