Job Description
A nurturing Primary school in Worcestershire is seeking a Learning Mentor to support pupils who need calm guidance to stay focused and confident. You’ll provide short 1:1 sessions, classroom support, and encouragement during transitions. Some pupils benefit from reassurance; others need help organising tasks or managing emotions. Working closely with teachers, you’ll help pupils engage positively with learning and build secure routines that keep them on track.
Provide 1:1 and small-group mentoring.
Support behaviour, engagement, and focus.
Assist with routine, organisation, and transitions.
Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting Primary pupils.
Warm, calm communication style.
Confidence supporting emotional regulation.
Strong safeguarding awareness.
