Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on Construction Trainer to deliver practical, engaging workshops to young people in an alternative provision setting. You will teach basic construction skills in a supportive and structured environment, helping students gain confidence, discipline, and real-world abilities. Ideal for experienced tradespeople or college trainers looking to make a meaningful impact.
Deliver practical training in construction skills
Support learners’ engagement and progress
Create a safe, inclusive and motivating workshop environment
Work collaboratively with pastoral and SEND staff
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Background in construction or trade sectors
Experience in teaching or mentoring (desirable)
Calm, practical and patient approach
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
