Job Description
You’ll support pupils who need help staying engaged in lessons, offering steady guidance, structured reminders, and positive reinforcement. You’ll run short interventions, help pupils settle quickly, and work with teachers to apply simple engagement strategies. Your role is to remove small barriers so pupils can participate confidently, follow routines, and reconnect with learning throughout the school day.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 1:1 and small-group engagement support.
Reinforce routines and help pupils settle into tasks.
Run short confidence-building and motivation sessions.
Liaise with teachers to monitor engagement patterns.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting pupils with engagement, confidence, or SEMH needs.
Clear, steady communication style.
Able to follow consistent routines and classroom expectations.
Strong safeguarding awareness and teamwork skills.
