Job Description
You’ll deliver targeted reading support through 1:1 and small-group sessions, helping pupils improve fluency, comprehension, and confidence. You’ll reinforce phonics and vocabulary strategies and support pupils to apply these skills more confidently during lessons.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver guided reading and phonics support sessions.
Support pupils with comprehension and vocabulary development.
Provide 1:1 literacy support where required.
Share progress updates with teaching staff.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting literacy in primary settings.
Strong communication and confident reading modelling.
Patient approach to developing reading confidence.
Strong safeguarding awareness and teamwork approach.
