Job Description

This Drama Teacher role offers the opportunity to inspire creativity, self-expression, and teamwork through the performing arts. You’ll deliver lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping pupils build confidence and communication skills while preparing those at GCSE level for both practical and written assessments.

Your teaching will blend creativity with structure, ensuring students learn the craft of performance alongside analytical and reflective skills. You’ll have opportunities to direct school plays, lead drama clubs, and foster a vibrant culture where students feel empowered to explore their talents.

Drama is more than a subject—it’s a gateway to confidence, resilience, and collaboration. Whether helping a shy pupil deliver their first monologue or guiding a group toward the next school showcase, you’ll help students make tangible strides in self-belief and teamwork.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging drama lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Prepare students for GCSE practical and written assessments.

Direct school productions and run drama clubs.

Foster creativity, collaboration, and self-expression in all learners.

Desired Experience

QTS with a drama specialism.

Experience in theatre or performance direction.
