Job Description
We are looking for a Secondary English Teacher to join an Oxfordshire school, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll deliver engaging lessons in literature, language, and writing, ensuring pupils gain the skills and confidence to succeed in GCSE examinations.
Your teaching will encourage creativity and critical thinking, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech. Beyond the classroom, you may contribute to drama clubs, debating groups, or creative writing initiatives, extending pupils’ passion for English into wider school life.
This role is ideal for a teacher who values inclusivity, creativity, and the chance to make a lasting impact on young people.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach English across KS3 and KS4.
Prepare students for GCSE exams.
Encourage creativity, analysis, and communication skills.
Contribute to enrichment activities such as clubs and performances.
