Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate Secondary Science Teacher to bring energy, expertise, and curiosity into the classroom. You’ll design engaging lessons that challenge pupils to think critically, explore experiments, and connect science to real-world applications. You’ll teach across KS3 and KS4, using creative strategies to differentiate for mixed-ability groups and motivate learners of all levels. This role is perfect for someone who loves seeing students’ confidence grow as they grasp complex ideas. You’ll be part of a collaborative department that values fresh thinking, practical demonstrations, and enthusiasm for subject mastery.

Job Responsibilities:
Deliver dynamic and inclusive science lessons across KS3–KS4
Plan, mark, and assess in line with the school’s curriculum
Create engaging practical sessions and experiments
Participate in departmental and whole-school improvement initiatives

QTS or equivalent qualification in science-related subject
Strong knowledge of GCSE curriculum
