Job Description
You’ll support pupils with SEMH needs by providing consistent boundaries, restorative conversations, and structured routines. You’ll help de-escalate incidents, guide emotional regulation, and deliver targeted behaviour interventions. Working closely with teachers and the pastoral team, you’ll support personalised plans that enable pupils to reconnect with learning in a safe, predictable environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 1:1 and group behaviour support using agreed strategies.
Deliver restorative approaches and calm de-escalation.
Track behaviour patterns and contribute to reviews.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral staff.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs.
Confident using positive behaviour approaches and clear routines.
Strong communication, resilience, and relationship-building skills.
Committed to safeguarding and reflective practice.
