Job Description
A dynamic secondary school in Banbury is seeking an experienced English Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop strong literacy, critical thinking, and written communication skills. QTS is preferred, but we welcome applications from strong practitioners without it.
Deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan, assess, and adapt learning to meet the needs of all learners
Contribute to the English department’s planning and curriculum
Support student progress through high-quality teaching
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience teaching English at secondary level
QTS is desirable but not essential
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
Committed to student development and achievement
