Job Description
A primary school in Warwickshire is seeking an experienced HLTA to lead lessons across Key Stage 2. This role requires someone confident managing a full class, delivering pre-planned lessons, and supporting pupils in preparation for upper KS2 expectations. You will work closely with teachers and SLT to maintain high standards of learning and behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
Lead whole-class teaching across KS2
Deliver planned lessons and adapt where necessary
Support pupil progress and behaviour management
Provide targeted interventions for individuals and groups
Collaborate with class teachers and leadership
Desired Experience + Qualifications
HLTA status or significant classroom leadership experience
Experience leading classes across all KS2 year groups
Strong behaviour management and curriculum knowledge
Confident, organised, and proactive approach
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
