Job Description
A school in Warwickshire is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to support pupils with additional learning needs. This role is ideal for an adaptable educator who can create engaging, personalised learning experiences while fostering confidence, independence, and achievement.
You'll play a key role in ensuring pupils receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally within a nurturing and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of SEND requirements
Develop and implement personalised learning plans
Monitor pupil progress and contribute to support reviews
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SEND teams, and parents
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND needs desirable
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching approaches
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and families
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
