Job Description
A school in Coventry is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Music Teacher to join the team from September 2026. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who can deliver inspiring music lessons across KS1 and KS2, creating an environment where pupils can develop musical skills, confidence, and enjoyment through learning.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Music lessons across KS1 and KS2
Plan and assess learning in line with curriculum expectations
Encourage creativity, performance, and musical development
Support pupils of varying abilities to access and enjoy music
Maintain positive classroom routines and behaviour expectations
Contribute to performances, enrichment opportunities, and wider school life where appropriate
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within KS1 and KS2
Strong classroom management skills
Passion for music education and pupil development
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
