Job Description
A secondary school in Warwickshire is seeking a committed and engaging Mathematics Teacher to join their team. This role is ideal for a teacher who can make mathematical concepts accessible, inspire curiosity, and help students develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed.
Whether delivering core concepts or stretching high-achieving learners, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupil progress and achievement.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum expectations
Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
Support pupil progress and attainment through effective teaching strategies
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Track and monitor pupil achievement
Contribute positively to the wider Mathematics department and school community
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent subject knowledge and problem-solving skills
Ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities
Strong communication and organisational skills
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
