Job Description
Milestone Education is seeking an enthusiastic and creative EYFS Teacher to work within welcoming primary schools across Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences that inspire young learners.
Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll support children's academic, social, and emotional development while laying the foundations for a successful transition into Key Stage 1.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
Assess, monitor, and record children's progress, maintaining accurate records
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
Promote children's personal, social, and emotional development through positive behaviour management
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and external professionals
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team
Participate in staff meetings, training, and wider school activities
Prepare children for a successful transition into Key Stage 1
Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and child welfare
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous experience teaching within EYFS (Nursery or Reception)
Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences
Commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
