Job Description
You’ll support pupils with a range of SEND needs, providing structured guidance in lessons, transitions, and sensory breaks. You’ll adapt tasks, use visuals, and follow personalised plans to help pupils regulate and engage. Working closely with teachers and therapists, you’ll deliver targeted interventions and help create predictable learning routines that support confidence and independence.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 1:1 and small-group SEND support across the day.
Use visuals, routines, and communication systems consistently.
Adapt learning activities under teacher direction.
Record pupil progress and liaise with teaching + therapy teams.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting pupils with SEND, ASD, or communication needs.
Confident using calm routines and supportive communication techniques.
Strong teamwork, patience, and communication skills.
Committed to safeguarding and CPD.
