Job Description
A primary school in Warwickshire (Nuneaton area) is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within the classroom. This role is ideal for someone with SEND experience who can provide consistent, structured support and help pupils engage confidently in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning
Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
Work closely with teachers and SEND staff
Encourage independence and engagement in learning
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting pupils with SEND
Previous classroom experience
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patient, proactive, and nurturing approach
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
