Job Description
A specialist school in Wolverhampton is urgently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across a range of age groups. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resilient, and experienced in working with learners with autism, PMLD, SLD, or communication needs. Personal care will be part of the role, and full training will be provided.
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND
Assist with learning activities, emotional regulation, and behaviour support
Support with personal care needs as required
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience working in a SEND or care environment
Comfortable with personal care and physical support
Adaptable and empathetic approach
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
