Job Description
A Primary school in Birmingham South is seeking a Student Support Assistant to help pupils who benefit from structured reminders, emotional reassurance, and 1:1 guidance. You’ll support learning tasks, transitions, and organisation throughout the day. Some pupils need confidence; others need predictable steps to stay engaged. Working closely with teachers, you’ll help create a supportive environment where pupils feel ready to learn and participate.
Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
Assist with routines, focus, and transitions.
Support learning activities in class.
Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff.

Experience supporting Primary-aged pupils.
Calm, friendly communication.
Confidence guiding routines and organisation.
