Job Description
A dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant is required at a Wolverhampton specialist school to provide daily classroom and personal care support. You’ll be working alongside experienced staff to meet the needs of pupils with varied learning difficulties, physical needs, and behavioural challenges. This is an ideal role for someone proactive, compassionate, and confident supporting pupils with SEND.
Provide in-class and 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
Assist with communication, emotional regulation, and sensory support
Carry out personal care routines as required
Foster an inclusive, respectful, and structured learning environment
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Previous experience supporting children with SEND
Comfortable with personal care
Reliable, calm, and confident in managing behaviour
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
