Job Description

You'll provide tailored support for autistic pupils, helping them engage with learning, develop communication skills, and build independence throughout the school day. Working alongside teachers, therapists, and families, you'll create consistent routines and personalised strategies that enable every pupil to achieve meaningful progress.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for autistic pupils.
Implement personalised communication and learning strategies.
Promote emotional regulation, independence, and positive engagement.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Experience supporting autistic children or young people.

  • Good understanding of autism-friendly approaches and inclusive practice.

  • Calm, patient, and adaptable communication skills.

  • Strong safeguarding awareness and professional judgement.
