Job Description
A primary school in the CV22 area of Warwickshire is seeking a committed Year 6 Teaching Assistant to support pupils during this crucial stage of their education. You will assist with SATs preparation, targeted interventions, and classroom support, ensuring pupils remain engaged, focused, and confident in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
Provide in-class support within a Year 6 setting
Deliver small group interventions in Maths and English
Support SATs preparation and revision sessions
Assist with behaviour management and classroom routines
Work collaboratively with the class teacher
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Previous KS2 classroom experience
Understanding of Year 6 expectations and SATs preparation
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Proactive and supportive approach
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
