Job Description
An early years setting in Oxfordshire is seeking a compassionate EYFS SEND Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil with complex needs. This role requires strong experience within EYFS and the ability to manage challenging behaviours in a calm and structured manner.
Key Responsibilities
Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with SEND
Support emotional regulation and behaviour management
Assist with EYFS learning activities and routines
Work closely with teaching staff and SEND team
Encourage engagement, development, and independence
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting children with complex SEND needs
Strong knowledge of EYFS framework
Experience managing challenging behaviours
Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
