Job Description
This is a unique opportunity for a compassionate and reliable Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil who requires regular insulin injections and classroom guidance. The role is perfect for someone with prior SEND or medical experience who can build trust, maintain safety, and encourage academic and emotional progress.
Administer insulin in accordance with care plans
Monitor health and respond appropriately throughout the day
Support learning, behaviour, and social inclusion
Work closely with parents, medical staff, and the SENCO
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting pupils with medical needs or SEND
Comfortable administering insulin (training can be provided)
Strong communication and attention to detail
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
