Job Description
A primary setting in Birmingham is seeking a passionate and nurturing Qualified Nursery Teacher to join their team. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who understands the importance of early childhood development and can create engaging learning experiences that support children's academic, social, and emotional growth.
You'll play a vital role in helping young learners develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed for a successful transition into school life.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching within a Nursery setting
Plan and provide engaging, play-based learning opportunities
Support children's communication, language, and social development
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
Monitor and assess children's progress against EYFS expectations
Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
Support children's wellbeing, independence, and personal development
Maintain high standards of safeguarding and welfare
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised Early Years teaching qualification
Previous experience teaching within an Early Years or Nursery setting
Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences
Passion for supporting young children's development
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
