Job Description
Working as part of the teaching team, teachers plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences. The work involves effective planning, assessment, and classroom practice, alongside collaboration with colleagues to support school priorities. A strong understanding of safeguarding expectations and inclusive teaching approaches is essential.
Plans and delivers engaging curriculum-aligned lessons.
Assesses progress and adapts teaching accordingly.
Creates a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Works collaboratively with colleagues and leadership.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
Proven experience teaching students with complex autism and additional needs
Strong behaviour management skills and experience in providing high levels of support
The ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
A passion for education and a commitment to making a difference in students’ lives
